A.P. NEW YORK 3 February 2009
Billionaire George Soros announced today that he has purchased former president George W. Bush’s Crawford, Texas ranch for an undisclosed sum. Bush announced the sale of his Prairie Chapel Ranch – actually a pig farm -- to an unnamed buyer two days after the end of his term of office.
Soros has stated that he intends to transform the property into a theme park and museum called the WorstPresidentEverland Ranch, featuring Bush-themed carnival attractions and artifacts from Bush’s eight years in office.

Among the attractions will be a Valerie Plame-themed target game called Burn the Spook, a carnival ride called the Tunnel of Debt, an Iraq-themed whack-a-mole game called Stay the Course, and a sharpshooting game called Hit Whittington.
The George W. Bush Presidential Museum will include the Mission Accomplished banner which Soros purchased from the crew of the USS Abraham Lincoln in May 2003, copies of Bush’s various arrest reports and Texas Air National Guard documents, a Segway ridden by Bush in June 2003, and a collection of dartboards used by Bush featuring the likenesses of Ann Richards, Molly Ivins, Al Gore, Howard Dean, John Kerry, Nancy Pelosi, Keith Olbermann, Patrick Fitzgerald, and Barack Obama.
Mr. Soros plans to open the WorstPresidentEverland Ranch to the public in time for the 4th of July weekend.
